National Careers Week a huge success for college
During National Careers Week South Essex College hosted career and progression fairs across all campuses to celebrate the diverse range of opportunities available in the South East.
Throughout the week (2 – 7 March) various organisations visited the campuses to showcase their progression options through employment, apprenticeships and university.
A variety of employers visited including Connexions, Knight Group, Ipeco, Britvic, Honeywell, Forward Motion, System Driving School, London Fire Brigade, Border Force, Essex Police, Essex Fire Brigade, Safer Roads Essex Partnership, National Citizenship Service, Audi and many more.
National Careers Week is an annual week which empowers positive change through careers education and showcases the fantastic opportunities from employers in the South East.
Sally Webb, Careers Manager at South Essex College, said; “With a great range of exhibitors across all campuses, students were able to consider options that they may not have thought of previously. Exhibitors, students and staff all had very positive feedback and have said that it has benefitted them all.
“We want to thank all the staff who have supported this event and helped make it a great success.”
