Our Academy of Hair, Beauty and Media Make-up in Southend and Thurrock offers training in a large range of hair and beauty procedures.

Our prices are competitive because our salons are staffed by supervised trainees who are learning essential commercial experience before they enter industry.
Opening times and price list
Late night bookings with our adult students cuts and colours; Tuesday and Thursday 6.30pm–9.30pm.
Beauty salon opening times vary and treatments are only available at set times.

Important notice
An allergy test must be carried out at least 48 hours prior to any tinting, perming or lash extensions treatments. Patch tests are required 48 hours prior to treatment for any colouring or perming treatments. All perms/colours include cut & blowdry or set, only if there is time within the class.
Treatments are available throughout the academic year and clients must be a minimum of 16 years old. Please be aware certain treatments are only available on set days and times due to the students' timetable. All services are carried out at the Lecturer's discretion, which may be dependent upon the ability of the student and the time available.
To avoid disruption to students' learning 24 hours notice is required for cancellations. Whilst our students are under professional supervision and every effort is taken to meet your requirements, results may vary and may not always meet your expectations. This is reflected in our pricing structure as we are a training college.
