The Academy of Advanced Technology is offering advanced level qualifications in a diverse and dynamic environment that will propel our young people into technical careers equipped with maturity and academic excellence.
Delivered in partnership with the South East Institute of Technology (SEIoT) and working closely with key local employers, students will have access to work placements, apprenticeships and exclusive interviews for degree apprenticeships.
Support and guidance
Our teachers hold drop-in sessions for each department to offer extra help or support to any who need it. Each course also has regular assessments to ensure that all our students have a good sense of their strengths and areas of development.

Did you know?
A Levels provide students with a traditional pathway to university and offer prospective employers the higher level qualifications they look for. These can be pursued at sixth-form school or sixth-form college. A Levels are a traditional academic way of studying and progression tends to lead into degree and higher education studies.
A Level FAQ
The entry requirements for the Academy are 5 GCSEs at Grade 6 or above, including Maths and English Language.
Entry requirements for T Levels vary depending on the course chosen but typically include the following: Level 2 qualification or GCSEs x4 at grade 4/C, including English and maths. Please check the specific course page on our website for the most accurate details.
The first cohort for the Academy will commence classes in September 2024.
You can select to study 3 or 4 A Levels, depending on your GCSE grades.
Our aim is to inform all students about the outcome of their application before the end of April 2024.
