The college recently held an excellent learner voice conference which brought all student reps together, they were able to share their own ideas in a respectful environment.

The college behaviour policy keeps students safe and ensures standards of behaviour reflects expectations in the workplace.

Staff follow a college code of conduct and the college’s safeguarding team train staff members to make sure they are updated with legislations. The college has excellent links with the local police to ensure safety of all our students and staff when on campus.

Democracy

Democracy

A student representative is on the whole college board of governors.

We also have student rep positions for each course area, they meet regularly and drive the learner voice forward. The reps have input into change and can raise issues with senior leaders. Every student and apprentice at the college has the opportunity to complete satisfaction surveys on their experience, the collated responses triggers change throughout the college.
