Stephenson Road Campus (Motor Vehicle, Engineering and Construction Centre)

Our new state-of-the-art Motor Vehicle, Engineering and Construction Centre at Stephenson Road Campus will feature cutting-edge facilities and workshops.

Our ambition is to equip more young people in the local area with the right skills to secure jobs in these important industries for the UK economy."

The new site at Stephenson Road, off Progress Road, will provide students with a one stop shop for all their education and training needs in motor mechanics and the construction trades.

Phase one of the development will see the College offer Motor Vehicle courses in Southend for the first time.

The first part of the site, due to open in September 2018, will allow the College to expand provision in this area including new motorcycle, MOT, HGV and PSV courses.

The second phase will involve the College creating dedicated engineering and construction facilities for students.

This qualification is an integral part of the IMI SSC Maintenance and Repair Apprenticeship Framework (Heavy Vehicle route). It is ideal if you are keen to build a career in the industry and want to take this qualification as part of your Apprenticeship framework.
