Hair makeovers for Cabin Crew students

Hair students from South Essex College used their training techniques to teach a Cabin Crew class appropriate hairstyles for the airline industry.

The Level 3 Hairdressing students shared their skills with the Level 2 Cabin Crew course at the College’s Thurrock Campus.

Cabin Crew employees have to adhere to airline rules and neatly secure their hair up if it goes past their collar in length.

Styles suggested and taught to the students included low twists, buns, French pleats and braided buns.

Cheryl Plume, Hair Lecturer, said: “An extremely knowledgeable and fun session was had by all students, within the next four weeks Cabin Crew students will also learn from Hair and Media Make-up students about tips on how to have that flawless finish, another industry requirement.”
