College celebrates National Apprenticeship Week 2022

South Essex College is celebrating National Apprenticeship Week this week (7-13 February), sharing the experiences and thoughts of students and employers across its social media platforms.

The week will kick off with an informative FAQ video for both apprentices and employers. This will be followed by a series of videos and information slides from apprentices and employers throughout the week.

The college will also be holding a virtual apprenticeship information event on Monday 7 February for prospective students and parents. To register to attend, visit www.southessex.ac.uk/events/apprenticeship-virtual-information-event

Vikki Stratford, Workforce Apprenticeship Consultant, said: “As the economy bounces back following the uncertainties and disruption of the pandemic, there has never been a better time to be an apprentice, or take on one to support your business.

“More and more companies are getting involved in the apprenticeship route to bring fresh talent to their organisation. Apprenticeships are not just ideal for school leavers, but for older people too who may be looking to upskill in their current role, or train for a completely new career.”
