Coffee and cake raise charity cash

Personal Social Development students at South Essex College’s Basildon campus held a coffee morning to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The group decorated a table in the campus reception and sold tea, coffee and delicious cakes to staff and fellow students.
An amazing total of £105.20 was raised by the students as part of Macmillan Cancer Support’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.
The group said they were delighted with the amount raised and offer a big thank you to the people who stopped by and supported the cause by donating money to the coffee morning.
Coffee and cakes were also on the menu at the College’s Southend Campus Atrium Café in aid of the charity.
