Buskers’ Corner is back at South Essex College
South Essex College Music students have relaunched Buskers’ Corner to help increase their performance experience.
Every Wednesday lunchtime, the College has allocated a dedicated space in the Southend Campus reception for students to show off their musical skills.
Music students helped to launch the initiative this week with acoustic performances. The area will mainly be used by Level 2 and 3 Music students to build their confidence when playing live.
Ted Groves, Curriculum Co-ordinator Music, said: “We’re really glad to be starting Buskers’ Corner again, it’s a great opportunity for our performers and gives them the chance to do what they love.”
The college offers a variety of Music courses at different levels covering everything from composing to theory and performance technique.
