UCSE Star Kenzie Claydon Shines at Prestigious London Art Exhibition
A standout student from University Centre South Essex (UCSE) is taking the creative world by storm after being handpicked to showcase his work at a major London art exhibition this summer.
Kenzie Claydon, who recently completed his two-year Extended Diploma in Fashion Business & Retail at UCSE, has been selected to exhibit at Origins Creatives 2026; a flagship event hosted by University of Arts London (UAL) at the prestigious Mall Galleries in the heart of London.

Kenzie’s powerful submission, Psychological Vulnerability, blends fashion styling and photography to offer a raw, honest exploration of mental health issues. The deeply personal project, which formed part of their final major project, resonated strongly with Calum Hall, curator from Creative Debuts, who described this year’s exhibition as “unapologetic, undivided and unbound.”
Out of over 600 entries from emerging creatives across the country, Kenzie’s work stood out for its emotional depth, innovative vision and professional execution, a testament to the talent nurtured right here at UCSE.
The project culminated in a striking 24-page professionally styled magazine, showcasing not only Kenzie’s creative flair but also his technical skill and understanding of fashion storytelling. It’s this blend of passion and precision that has earned him a place on one of the biggest stages for young artists in the UK.
Origins Creatives 2026, running from 15–18 July, will bring together groundbreaking artwork, bold fashion pieces, short films, and live performances. The event promises an unforgettable experience.
For Kenzie, this is more than just an exhibition, it’s a platform to spark conversation, challenge perceptions and inspire others through creative expression.
Kenzie’s lecturer Sara Grundy said: “We couldn’t be prouder of Kenzie’s achievement. his journey at UCSE has been one of courage, creativity and commitment.”
Stay tuned for updates as Kenzie prepares to take London by storm this July.
