Hair, There and Everywhere!

Hairdressing students completed a two day hair extension course.

Hairdressing students ranging from Level 2, 3 and also adult learners have completed a two day intensive hair extension course to inspire them to progress, and expand their skill set to another level, as well as and providing additional services to clients.

Tutor, Jacqui Miles who has coordinated the course at the Southend campus said: “All the learners have enjoyed and engaged in learning additional skills and have had a great two days. The have learnt to add hair, remove added hair correctly and safely, also blending and cutting them by texturizing hair extensions to create a celebrity hairstyle.”

 
The learners have been inspired by the Belle Academy tutors Taz and Kim who were delivering the hair extension course. The students have also learnt that extensions are not just for length they, are also for thickening hair too.
 
They have learnt eight methods with a range of different techniques including keratin fusion, bonds. micro-rings, mini-tubes, easy shrinks, nano-rings, celebrity weave, micro-ring weft and tape ins.

All the learners had an extremely productive and important time learning new techniques to give them the skills and experience they need.
