Local attractions

The College's International team is based in Southend-on-Sea, a seaside resort in Essex less than 50 miles (80km) from central London, one of the greatest cities in the world!

Over six million tourists flock to Southend every year to enjoy its culture and Blue Flag beaches (seven miles of them) and tourism generates over £200m for the local economy. Southend also holds the World Record for having the Longest Pleasure Pier in the World - 1.33 miles (2.14km).
