What is Speakers Hub?
University Centre South Essex's Speakers Hub is where industry professionals reveal what their job is really like, and how they got there.
We believe that no career is ‘unrealistic’ if you know how to get your foot in the door. Each Speakers Hub event shares real experiences from real people, showing you how to get started, as well as discusses hot topics in the industry that you will undoubtedly need to know about.

Speakers Hub aims to answer all of these questions and more. Whether you are currently at university or college or are just curious, these events will open your eyes to the endless career possibilities and what working in the industry is really like.
Fashion Industry: Emma Lightbown
If you have an interest in fashion, this event is not to be missed.
Emma Lightbown is a stylist who has worked on shoots for clients such as Tesco, Love Island, Mens Health and Gymshark. Emma is also a presenter – she has presented backstage at London Fashion Week, a 16 episode web series for Sky Showbiz, and runs her own YouTube channel.
