South Essex College is proud to be working with business coach, Ross Chaplin, to bring you this Career Clinic, designed to help you take the next steps in your career journey.
The day will start at 10am with a virtual career workshop. In this 1-hour interactive session, you will learn how to:
- Manage a change in your career - whether you chose the change or not
- Work out what's most important to you about your career
- Find the right job opportunities
Ross will also be joined by Christine Bhatt, CEO of Systematics International, and Ian Banks, CEO of One To One recruitment agency, who will be talking about what they look for in job applicants.
Following the workshop, you can find out about the courses we have on offer that will help you advance your career. Teams from South Essex College and University Centre South Essex will be live at the times stated below to talk about their courses and what previous students have gone on to do.
11am - Access to Higher Education and Initial Teacher Training
11.30am - Higher Education at University Centre South Essex
12pm - Workforce skills and iLearn courses
12.30pm - Apprenticeships for adults

More about Ross Chaplin:
Ross Chaplin is an owner of two Essex businesses, The Training Team, and Sprint Communications, a fast-growing Telecoms company. Ross is the former Chair of the Institute of Directors in Essex. He works with many businesses on projects that provide business development support and training, including the coaching and mentoring of employees.
As a qualified business coach, Ross has a strong background in assisting individuals build successful careers, displaying a passion for helping people achieve career satisfaction and success.
