Degree and higher education open days

Our degree and higher education open days will give you all the information you need about our degree and higher education courses and allow you to get a taste of what studying at South Essex College is like.

At our events you can:

• Get one-to-one advice on your course choice: Tutors are available to answer your questions on degrees, and all other Higher Education (HE) courses, such as HNCs, HNDs and various teaching qualifications. We will also have information available on Access and Adult courses in the Forum
• Take a tour of the campus: Student Ambassadors are available to take you to view any specialist facilities relevant to your area of study. Student Ambassadors can be found at the ‘Tour Guide’ stand in the reception of Luker Road
• Visit our Student Services Team located on the third floor in The Forum for advice on completing the correct application form for your course. The Additional Learning Support team will also be based here to assist with any enquiries. Get advice on finance, bursaries/loans, student support and how to apply
• Find out about our fantastic Costume Construction degree in partnership with the Royal Opera House at our High House Production Park facility in Purfleet

Higher education experience days

South Essex College offers a number of taster days throughout the year to allow you to experience degree study for the day.

They provide the perfect opportunity to find out more about higher education studies at the college and the courses we offer. You will get to meet the tutors, view the facilities and potentially meet new friends to accompany you on your higher education journey.
