Students take part in Christmas parade

Performing Arts students at South Essex College got into the festive spirit by taking part in the Leigh Lights Parade.

The Level 2 Performing Arts (Acting) students, who are part of the college’s Nu.Dynamic Theatre Company, dressed up as superheroes and Christmas elves to entertain the crowds.

Disney characters also featured, and with a festive chill to the air, it was apt that Elsa from Frozen made an appearance to the delight of the waiting crowd.
The parade started in Kings Road and travelled along Leigh Road, Broadway and finished in Broadway West.

Level 2 Performing Arts (Acting) Course Leader, Jay Clinton, said the students demonstrated a high level of professionalism and really got into the spirit of the event to showcase their talents.
