Graduation 2018: Molly-Rose Birch

Studying a degree not only saw Molly-Rose Birch develop academically, but also on a personal level.
The 21-year-old from Benfleet said her higher education journey helped grow her confidence and find her passion in life.
Her hard work and dedication paid off as she graduated with First Class Honours in BSc Sports Studies.
Molly-Rose said she was over the moon.
She said: “When I was at school and College I was a very shy person. The degree course has helped me step out of my comfort zone and push myself academically and personally.
“It was great to study something I’m passionate about. At school you do a lot of subjects you might not be that interested in and I was always doubting my abilities. The lecturers at the College were great as they always believed in me and made me see things differently. Most importantly they made me believe in myself.”
Molly-Rose is now looking to study further qualifications to pursue her dream of becoming a teacher.
