Open event giveaway
To celebrate our upcoming open events we are giving away three laptops, perfect for completing your written college assignments and web research!
Eligible attendees* to each of our next three open events will have the chance to win one! There are no tricky questions to answer, all you need to do is attend one of our events below for your chance to win!
- Centre for Digital Technologies (Basildon Town Centre Campus), Wednesday 9 February 2022.
- Basildon Luckyn Lane Campus, Wednesday 9 March 2022.
- Southend Luker Road Campus, Tuesday 15 March 2022.

Terms and Conditions
- The giveaway is organised by South Essex College.
- One prize draw will be made for each event listed below.
- A total of three laptops are available, one prize being allocated to each of the open events listed below.
- Entry to this giveaway is open to anyone with the exception of employees of, or any person closely connected with, the college.
- Entries will be taken from the list of eligible attendees* of each of the qualifying college open events as listed below. (*for avoidance of doubt, ‘eligible attendees’ refers to prospective students enquiring about courses at the college. Those in accompaniment (such as, but not limited to, parents/guardians/carers/friends/relatives) will not be eligible to enter the giveaway.).

Centre for Digital Technologies (Basildon Town Centre Campus), Wednesday 9 February 2022.
Basildon Luckyn Lane Campus, Wednesday 9 March 2022.
Southend Luker Road Campus, Tuesday 15 March 2022. - On the day following each event listed above, all eligible attendees from said event will be entered into a prize draw. One winner will be picked at random in each draw.
- Each prize draw is a separate event. Eligible attendees will be entered into the relevant draw relating to the event(s) attended.
- Winners will be contacted by email following each draw via the details provided at the open event. Winners will have 48 hours to acknowledge their win else the prize will be forfeited and another winner picked at random.
- The college reserves the right to amend these rules or cancel this giveaway at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion or if circumstances arise outside of its control.
- Once the prize is in the possession of the respective winners, the college ceases responsibility for said items.
- The college’s decision is final.
- Prize will be arranged to be collected by the winner from a South Essex College campus of their choice at their own expense. This will be arranged between the winner and a college representative when the winner has been contacted as per the above.
- Winners will be announced on the college’s social media accounts.
