A-Level students hold exhibition

Students studying on A-level Fine Art and Photography programmes at the College’s Southend Campus recently showcased their talents in an exhibition.

The students displayed their work for two weeks in the Campus Gallery with the fortnight culminating in a special private viewing for students’ friends and families.

The students’ work, which was based around a variety of self-chosen themes, forms part of their coursework module of their A-level courses.

Photography Lecturer Simon Gummer said: “Both photography and fine art students worked really hard on the exhibition and explored a wide range of mediums and techniques. A number of the students are going onto visual art related degrees and as such setting up and curating their own exhibition enables them to gain valuable experience."
