GCSE results day - Leanne Bingham

Aspiring accountant Leanne now has a grade 5 in English to go alongside her maths skills.

The 17-yer-old improved on her grade 3 achieved last year and is now able to progress on to the Level 3 Accounting course at the college.

She said a lot of hard work and dedication as well as lots of support from her tutor made it all possible.

She said: “It’s been a good but hard year but I’m over the moon at the result.”

Leanne is already looking towards the future as the grade 5 in English will be essential for her to undertake her level 4 qualification.
