Overview
This is for learners who want to work as a Painter and Decorator in the Construction sector, you will learn, develop and practise all aspects of the Painting & decorating qualification.
Entry Requirements
- Entry 3 qualification or GCSEs x 2 at grade 2/E in MATHS or ENGLISH
- Successful attendance at interview Successful attendance at transition event

- Unit 101 Principles of building construction, information and communication
- Unit 116 Erecting and dismantling access equipment and working platforms
- Unit 117 Preparing surfaces for decoration
- Unit 118 Applying paint systems by brush and roller to non-complex areas
- Unit 119 Applying foundation and plain papers
- Unit 120 Producing specialist decorative finishes
- Unit 201 Health, safety and welfare in construction
