Suitable for those who wish to obtain or improve an IELTS score. This qualification is now a requirement for most university courses, professional career paths, and visa applications.

Overview

This course is for those non-native speakers wishing to go to university or to follow a professional career path where having an IELTS score is essential. The College is not an IELTS test centre but we can give students the chance to practise the various aspects of the test (IELTS Academic Mode) in a workshop session, and improve their exam skills and strategies.

  • Generally, the course starts in September and January
  • Each semester lasts 16 weeks
  • We offer flexible start and end dates throughout the year
  • A student visa may be required for non-EU students

What's covered?

You will practise the various aspects of the test (IELTS Academic Mode) in a workshop session, and improve your exam skills and strategies. We can also offer a full-time EFL course incorporating IELTS hours if needed.

How will my work be assessed?

The College is not an IELTS centre and the IELTS test can be taken at a location to suit the student. Exams are at extra cost.

What can I do after this?

After successfully completing this course you could progress to higher education or register with professional associations. IELTS certificates can be used for visa purposes as well.
