Olayiwola Ode, 17 years old from Nigeria achieved grade 5 in GCSE English and studied Level 2 Health and Social Care. Olayiwola said “I feel good, all my hard work was not in vain, and my teacher always pushed me. Even when I didn’t pass my mock exam, she was encouraging saying ‘it’s your first time writing GCSE English, you’re doing so good and to keep pushing’. My plan for the future is to achieve my grade 4 in Maths and then I will go to university and go for my nursing course.”

Foundation T Level Health student Ellie Wheeler also celebrated success, attaining a fantastic Grade 5 in her maths GCSE after facing challenges with regular attendance at school.

Ellie said “I found that I was able to focus more on my studies at SECG and I am delighted with my grade which means that I can progress to do a T Level in Health.” Ellie hopes to pursue her dream of becoming a paediatric nurse.

These achievements reflect the hard work and determination of students, supported by the dedication of teaching teams across the Group.
