Water Regulations and Unvented Hot Water

The key aspects of the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations and Water Byelaws and how this affects water supply and fittings. Also the design and features involved in the installation, commissioning and safety aspects of hot water systems.

Why should I do this course?

These qualifications are intended for those learners who wish to learn about the legal requirements for plumbing systems in the UK covered by Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations and Water Byelaws and/or the Installation, commissioning and safety aspects of hot water systems for domestic use in accordance with UK Building Regulations. These qualifications are suitable for those studying to become a plumber or heating and ventilating engineer. They are also suitable for those already employed within these industries and who wish to update their knowledge of the Water Regulations or Hot Water Systems in line with UK Building Regulations for CPD purposes. 
 

Entry Requirements

At least two year's experience as a qualified plumber.

Course Structure

You will learn about the legal requirements for plumbing systems in the UK covered by Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations and Water Byelaws and/or the Installation, commissioning and safety aspects of hot water systems for domestic use in accordance with UK Building Regulations.
