Overview

This apprenticeship will provide an opportunity for you to develop an understanding of how to work in a supply chain Operation, support colleagues and develop a greater understanding of company policies and procedures.

Entry Requirements

Set by the employer but apprentices must demonstrate via initial assessment that they are working at Entry Level 3 in both English and maths unless an Education Health and Care Plan is held.

Course Structure

Induction (First six weeks)

  • Programme overview/unit selection
  • English and maths diagnostic – with Functional Skills support (where identified)
  • Health and Safety, Equality and Diversity, Prevent and British Values
  • Expectations and induction targets 

On-programme (Months 01 - 13)

  • Delivery and achievement of Level 2 Certificate in Supply Chain Operations via workbased on and off-the-job training
  • Delivery and achievement of Functional Skills English, maths and ICT at the required level where required (Classroom based or virtual classroom delivery depending on assessment of employer and learner requirements)
  • Completion of Employer Rights and Responsibilities
  • Personal learning and thinking skills
  • 4-6 weekly work-based assessment visits
  • 10 weekly progress reviews
  • Development of e-portfolio
  • Equality and Diversity/Prevent/British Values

Certification (Final 4 - 6 weeks of programme)

  • Level 2 Certificate in Supply Chain Operations
  • Functional Skills in English, maths and ICT

An Apprenticeship Framework programme offers a combination of learning in the workplace, formal off the job training and the opportunity to practice and embed new skills in a real work context.

What Next...

You could prorgress onto the Level 3 Diploma in Supply Chain Management and then the Level 5 Diploma in Supply Chain Operations
