Overview
This course is aimed at those wanting to progress directly to employment, including self-employment, in sports coaching and development roles.
It is also suitable for those wishing to progress to higher education (university), where learners would have the added advantage of using this qualification to obtain part-time employment while studying.
The content of this course has been developed in discussion with employers and professional bodies so you can be certain that what you are going to learn will be directly transferable to employment in the sports industry, with specific focus on coaching and development. The BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Sports Coaching and Development is equivalent in size to three A Levels.

Assessment & Feedback
Each unit is assessed using a range of assessment methods, this includes: reports, essays, presentations, practical observation, consultations, posters and leaflets.

Important
Aged 18 as of 31st August 2022 and applying for Level 3 Extended Diploma?
Your application and enrolment will be for the one year Level 3 Diploma. If you wish to complete the full Extended Diploma you will need to apply for an (Advanced Learner Loan) to cover the tuition fees after successfully completing the Diploma.
