The Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Policing Level 4 is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the principles and practices within the policing sector. Entry Requirements
- Level 3 Diploma (Preferably Public Service related. Eg Public Services, Policing, Criminology)
- ability to work to a Level 2 standard in maths and English

What Next...
Successful candidates on completion of the course and sufficient Special Constable Volunteering hours can apply for Direct Patrol Status with Essex Police.
On successful completion of this course and alongside obtaining direct patrol status, candidates will be able to apply for roles directly with Essex Police.
