Overview
The programme will be over three days each week and will require that you undertake a work placement as part of the programme.
By completing a work placement during your study programme, you will benefit from:
- Practical experience in the industry you wish to work in
- Improved job opportunities
- Experience of teamwork and development of interpersonal skills
- Awareness of current developments in the sector
- Chance of a firm offer of employment
Entry Requirements

A Level 1 qualification or GCSEs x 2 at grade 3/D in MATHS or ENGLISH
- Successful attendance at interview

- Motor vehicle practical skills
- Motor vehicle technology (engine, chassis, transmission and electrical)
- Fault diagnosis of non-complex faults
- Health and safety
- Removing and replacing units and components
- Maths and English
