Overview
This course is suitable for anyone who would like to learn emergency first aid procedures either for use in the workplace or simply as a valuable life skill.

Entry Requirements
Applicants for this course must be over 16 and have a good command of the English language.
Candidates must provide one of the following forms of identification:
- Valid passport (any nationality)
- Signed UK photocard driving licence
- UK biometric residence permit card
- Birth certificate (BUT, if a birth certificate is presented as proof of identification, an additional form of identification such as a signed bank card, utility bill or a letter issued by a government department must also be provided).

- how to use a defibrillator
- minor and severe bleeding

1-day 10:00 – 17:00 at our Southend campus, Luker Road, Southend-on-Sea, SS1 1ND
Assessment
To achieve this qualification you will need to gain 11/15 in a multiple choice test and pass a practical assessment.
Qualification
Those who pass the test will achieve the Highfield Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work
