CPCAB Psychotherapeutic Level 5
This qualification is designed to give learners the knowledge, skill and competencies to work as self-employed counsellors in independent practice. It also equips learners to take on a senior counselling role in an organisational context where client assessment, referral and routine evaluation are part of the role. Within this course learners also undertake a research project, understand client and therapist factors, complete case presentations, recognise social and biological factors whilst continually understanding your own reaction to diversity within the counselling room.
During this course you will complete a further 60-client hours with BACP supervision requirements. This is a part time course, 4 hours per week, one afternoon in College. Assessment is through a range of techniques which will include essays, presentations, portfolios of evidence and case reviews.
