South Essex Colleges Group (SECG) is proud to have launched its new Higher Education alumni magazine, celebrating the achievements, resilience and career journeys of graduates from the University Centre South Essex (UCSE). Bringing together inspiring stories, career insights and community initiatives, the publication is shaped around the themes of Resilience, Personal Growth and Opportunity.

Sharon Dunphy, Deputy Executive Director – HE and Quality, says that it is 'more than just a publication', the magazine serves as a platform for connection - encouraging our alumni to share their experiences, support one another and continue embracing lifelong learning.

Editor Nick Smith, Careers Coordinator, says 'the magazine showcases the diversity and impact of the UCSE alumni community. From innovative creative work and industry-leading achievements to personal stories of perseverance, the first edition captures the many ways graduates are making a difference. It also highlights strong community engagement, with alumni contributing to local initiatives and partnerships that extend beyond the classroom.'
