HE Celebrating Success: Kenneth King, Criminology and Forensic Investigation BSc Hons

Kenneth King won the Overall Performance and Contribution to the College Award.
Kenneth started his degree in Criminology & Forensic Investigation BSc (Hons) at the age of 51 having studied for an Access course.

He chose to study at University Centre South Essex because of its convenient location.
He said: “I am surprised and humbled to win this award. I made a great bunch of new friends whilst studying and really enjoyed the lectures.

My greatest achievement so far has been achieving a high 1st in Academic skills.”
His tutor said: “Despite having a very large gap between his periods of formal education, Kenneth has thrown himself wholeheartedly into the course and always participates keenly in class discussions. His written work is of a high standard and I’m certain that he will achieve great success in the future.”

Kenneth aims to progress as far as he can possibly go academically and added: “I would recommend University Centre South Essex because the course is professionally delivered and there is a great support network.
