She was nominated by her tutors for her great improvement over the last year, culminating in a professionally produced and commercially viable Fashion Media & Promotion project for visually impaired users.
Her tutors said: “Elise is a quiet and determined student who has taken everything in her stride, including navigation of the additional challenges of the pandemic and remote learning, whilst having a significant visual impairment.
“She has continued steadfastly with her studies and has successfully progressed to the final year of her course.”
Elise was surprised when she received her award and feels happy to have her hard work recognised during her studies.
She added: “The thing I have most enjoyed about studying here, is the completely new mind set and skill set that the course has given me.”
“I would recommend this university, because it has excellent facilities and photography/film studios for creative students like myself.”
Elise has ambitions for the future, one of them being to run her own graphic design and digital marketing business.
