Step into your future in creative media, animation and games design

If you are interested in film, digital content, animation, games design, visual storytelling and creative technologies, this subject area offers an exciting route into the creative industries. We offer courses in Creative Media, Animation & Games Design from Level 1 through to Level 6, so you can start at the point that is right for you and progress into higher education, apprenticeships or employment. 

Learn by doing 

Your learning is practical and project based, covering areas such as TV and film production, digital media, animation, games design, journalism and visual effects. You will create content, develop creative projects, work on live briefs and build a portfolio that reflects real industry practice and prepares you for the next step in your career. 

Our facilities and your support 

You will learn in specialist facilities including a TV studio, podcast and radio studios, editing suites using Adobe Creative Cloud, and dedicated creative spaces for animation and digital production. Our industry experienced staff and partners will support your development, helping you build the skills, knowledge and confidence employers are looking for. 

Where this could take you 

Overall student outcomes are strong, with a 96% pass rate. Many learners progress to university, apprenticeships and careers in film and television, content creation, animation, games design, visual effects, marketing, broadcasting and digital production.
