Course Overview
This advanced Level 3 course is designed for learners who have completed a Level 2 qualification and wish to progress towards successful employment within the beauty industry.
The course supports your development as a professional therapist and is designed to help you achieve long term success.
At South Essex Colleges Group, we believe it is essential for beauty therapists to have the strongest possible educational foundation. You will train in our professional beauty salons using industry standard product ranges, while studying industry recognised units and qualifications. This hands on approach enables you to further develop your technical skills, confidence, and professional practice.
To enhance your learning experience, there may be opportunities to select from a range of optional units, including Indian head massage, stone therapy, and other advanced practical beauty therapy treatments, allowing you to tailor your skills to your interests and career goals.
To study this course, you will need Beauty Specialist Techniques Level 2 Diploma plus maths and English at Grade 4/C or equivalent as well as successful attendance at interview event. You will be required to purchase salon wear, equipment kit, textbooks and consumables at enrolment.
This course is free to UK learners under 19 who are not in employment.
