Level 2 Diploma Electrical Installation

The Electrical Installations Level 2 Diploma is designed for learners who want to build on the skills and knowledge gained at Level 1 and continue their journey towards a career in the electrical industry. It is a direct progression route and is suitable for those who have successfully completed the Level 1 Electrical Installations course.
 

Throughout the course, learners develop a deeper understanding of both the practical and theoretical aspects of electrical installation. They build confidence working with practical electrical wiring systems and gain a stronger grounding in electrotechnical principles. Learning focuses on installation work within buildings and structures, helping learners understand how electrical systems are planned, installed and maintained in real working environments. 

The course also strengthens learners’ understanding of health and safety and electrical wiring regulations, which are essential for safe and compliant working practices. Learners develop skills in electrical measurement and testing, alongside further exploration of electrical science and technology, supporting accuracy and fault awareness within installation tasks. By the end of the course, learners will have increased technical ability, confidence and industry awareness. 

This Level 2 Diploma provides a strong foundation for progression to Level 3 electrical qualifications or apprenticeships, supporting learners as they move towards employment within the electrical installation sector. This course is delivered at our Thurrock campus and at our Luckyn Lane campus.
