Course Overview
The iStudy Level 2 Certificate in Workplace Violence and Harassment (Online) supports you to develop an understanding of workplace violence, bullying and harassment, and how these issues are prevented and managed. Delivered through online learning, the course is suitable if you want to understand legal responsibilities, organisational policies and safe working practices in professional environments.
During the course, you can learn about how workplace violence and harassment arise and how risks can be recognised and reduced. Learning focuses on understanding the law, policies and procedures that relate to violence, aggression, bullying and harassment at work, helping you understand how organisations promote safe and respectful workplaces.
You will also explore how to contribute to a positive working environment, including the role of equality, diversity and inclusion in preventing inappropriate behaviour. The course introduces ways of working that minimise the risk of conflict and support effective communication and professional conduct. This course offers flexible online learning to support your development at a pace that suits you.
By the end of the course, you will have a clearer understanding of workplace violence and harassment, how to respond appropriately, and the importance of creating safe, inclusive and respectful working environments.
To study this course, you must provide one of the following forms of identification: Valid in-date passport (any nationality), Signed in-date UK photocard driving licence, UK biometric residence permit card, Birth certificate (BUT, if a birth certificate is presented as proof of identification, an additional form of identification such as a signed bank card, utility bill or a letter issued by a government department must also be provided).

You will be assessed on this course through the completion of online modules. As this is a fully online course, you will need good organisational skills and are encouraged to commit around 2 to 3 hours of study per evening to complete the programme within the 6 week timescale.
You will need access to an internet enabled desktop or laptop computer and an active email account. Please note that this course is not compatible with tablets or smartphones.
This course is fully funded and free for learners aged 19 or over who are currently living in England and meet the eligibility and entry criteria. Please note that funding rules are occasionally subject to change.
Please note that we can only offer this course for free if it is completed within 6 weeks. If you start the course and do not complete within this time you will incur a £125 administration fee to cover the costs involved in your sign up. However, providing you do 2-3 hours study per night we are confident that you will complete within the 6 week timeframe.
