Travel to High House Production Park

Your journey to our Purfleet campus

High House Production Park is located in Purfleet and is home to The Backstage Centre and the The Bob and Tamar Manoukiian Costume Centre, specialist venues where education and the creative industries come together. With excellent road and rail connections, the location is easily accessible from London, Essex and the surrounding areas.

From London 

Take a direct c2c service from London Fenchurch Street station to Purfleet railway station. Journey time is typically around 30–35 minutes. From Purfleet station, the campus is approximately a 15-minute walk. 

From Basildon 

Take a direct c2c service to Purfleet railway station. Journey time is typically around 15–20 minutes. From the station, students can walk to the campus or use local bus services.

From Southend

Direct c2c services operate between Southend and Purfleet, with journey times typically between 30 and 40 minutes depending on the service. Purfleet station provides the nearest rail access to the campus.

The campus is served by local bus routes operating through Purfleet, Grays and Lakeside. Bus stops are located within a short walking distance of High House Production Park.

  • Stanford-le-Hope: Connecting services via Grays

Students should disembark at stops near London Road, Purfleet Station, or High House Production Park and follow signs towards The Backstage Centre.  

Visitor parking is available at two convenient locations. The first car park is accessed via London Road (RM19 1RJ) and includes a small number of accessible parking spaces, as well as a larger parking area close to the Walled Gardens. The second car park is accessed via Purfleet Bypass (RM19 1AS) and is located near the Royal Ballet and Opera Production Park facilities, providing additional parking for visitors to the campus.
