Job overview:
The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing learners for work, supporting them in real employment settings, liaising with employers to ensure safe, meaningful and high quality placements working closely with colleagues and stakeholders to deliver high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver on site job coaching support for learners in work placements.
- Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Prepare reports, analyse data, and provide recommendations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support the wider team in achieving business objectives.
About you
We are looking for someone who has:
Essential
- Experience in supporting learners with SEND, employability coaching, or working within education or vocational training.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A full UK driving license for travel between employer sites and placements
Desirable
- Relevant qualifications or professional certifications
- Knowledge of Supported Internship frameworks, work place health and safety expectations and SEND -related guidance for supporting learners in employment settings
