We are seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable Associate Lecturers to join our academic team. We are recruiting due to an exciting collaboration with Southend Airport, delivering 2 week programmes across the year, leading to employment opportunities at the airport. This position is for motivated professionals who are passionate about teaching and committed to supporting student success that lead into employment.

As an Associate Lecturer, you will deliver high-quality teaching and learning across designated modules, inspire learners to achieve their potential, and contribute to an outstanding student experience.

Key responsibilities

· Deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions to students.

· Prepare learning materials and resources that support curriculum delivery.

· Assess student work and provide constructive, timely feedback.

· Monitor student progress and provide academic guidance and support.

· Maintain accurate student records in line with institutional requirements.

· Contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance activities where appropriate.

· Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the student learning experience.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

· A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject area.

· Experience of teaching, training, mentoring, or supporting learners.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· The ability to engage and motivate students from diverse backgrounds.

· Strong organisational and time management skills.

· A commitment to equality, diversity, inclusion, and safeguarding.
