Course Overview
The iStudy Business Admin Level 2 Certificate (Online) supports you to develop knowledge and skills related to administrative work within office and business environments. It is suitable if you want to build confidence in everyday business administration practices and understand how offices operate effectively.
The course is delivered through distance learning with online workshops via Microsoft Teams, allowing you to study flexibly around other commitments. During the course, you can explore current working practices used in administration roles, including business procedures, organisation and professional behaviour. You will also learn about a range of administrative tasks such as organising meetings, managing records, budgeting for events and communicating effectively with colleagues and customers.
Learning focuses on helping you understand both routine and more complex administration duties, supporting accuracy, organisation and effective communication. The course introduces you to how information is stored, managed and retrieved securely within a business setting, helping you understand the importance of confidentiality and data handling.
By the end of the course, you will have developed a stronger understanding of business administration principles and transferable skills that support progression into further study or continued development within office‑based roles.
To study this course, you must provide one of the following forms of identification: Valid in-date passport (any nationality), Signed in-date UK photocard driving licence, UK biometric residence permit card, Birth certificate (BUT, if a birth certificate is presented as proof of identification, an additional form of identification such as a signed bank card, utility bill or a letter issued by a government department must also be provided).

You will be assessed on this course through the completion of online modules. As this is a fully online course, you will need good organisational skills and are encouraged to commit around 2 to 3 hours of study per evening to complete the programme within the 6 week timescale.
You will need access to an internet enabled desktop or laptop computer and an active email account. Please note that this course is not compatible with tablets or smartphones.
This course is fully funded and free for learners aged 19 or over who are currently living in England and meet the eligibility and entry criteria. Please note that funding rules are occasionally subject to change.
Please note that we can only offer this course for free if it is completed within 6 weeks. If you start the course and do not complete within this time you will incur a £125 administration fee to cover the costs involved in your sign up. However, providing you do 2-3 hours study per night we are confident that you will complete within the 6 week timeframe.
