During the course, you can learn how to carry out routine vehicle maintenance tasks and begin to understand common faults linked to chassis systems and auxiliary electrical equipment. Practical learning plays a key role, helping you build confidence working safely with vehicles, tools and equipment in a workshop environment. You will also develop essential hand and hand‑tool skills, learning how tools are selected and used correctly for automotive tasks.

Alongside practical work, the course introduces you to working methods and standards used in the motor industry, helping you understand professional expectations.
