Victoria Weeden, 38, from Thundersley, was a valued member of the cohort, known for her positive attitude, professionalism and willingness to support others. Drawing on her experience as a Student Learning Coach, she regularly shared insights, offered constructive feedback and helped fellow trainees build confidence throughout the course.
Despite the demands of working full-time while studying, Victoria remained committed to her learning and consistently supported those around her.
Victoria said:
“I was working full-time as a Student Learning Coach and I have to admit that juggling studies as well was quite a lot.
“My tutors were very supportive and all through the ups and downs at every step there was someone there. I thoroughly recommend the course because the tutors just ‘get it’ and allow you flexibility.”
Since graduating, Victoria has progressed into a role teaching a Health and Professional Access course and is already looking ahead to further study.
“I am hoping to progress on to do a degree in the future. Ultimately, I would love to become an independent teacher of alternative provision specialising in those from troubled backgrounds.”
Victoria's dedication, resilience and commitment to helping others have made a lasting impact on her peers. Everyone at UCSE congratulates her on her achievement and wishes her every success as she continues to inspire and support learners in her teaching career.
