One of the most inspiring aspects of Ebuzer’s journey is his determination to pass his driving theory test. Despite facing setbacks and attempting the test more than 20 times over the past year, he refused to give up—and recently succeeded. This achievement perfectly reflects his resilience, positive mindset, and willingness to keep striving towards his goals, no matter how challenging the journey.
Ambition for the future
Ebuzer is determined to build a career as an electrician. His strong work ethic, commitment to self‑improvement, and dedication to learning provide an excellent foundation for future success. He is a fantastic role model for his peers and a worthy ambassador for the college.
Reflecting on his award, Ebuzer said: “Honestly, I can’t explain, I’m so excited and happy. This is my first award and it’s been so hard for me. I study in Basildon and the most important thing is English. I have to improve my English; it’s a life rule for me. I’m originally from Turkey and I’m most proud of winning this award. I would 100% recommend the college. When I go into the classroom, I feel confident in myself and that’s because of the tutors, especially Ben. I want to go on to study Multi‑Skills at the college, as well as continue improving my English and maths.”
