  • for students who are hearing or visually impaired, we provide support through our skilled Sensory team to enable you to participate fully in all aspects of your learning programme; they work with local schools, the local authority and specialist teachers, for example TOD/TOVI, to identify your support needs and provide high quality individualised support at the College
  • if you have a hearing impairment and wish to discuss support needs you can contact the College by emailing additionallearningsupport@southessex.ac.uk
  • a portable CCTV which enlarges print, will help you if you access text and are visually impaired
  • computers with specially designed software for visually impaired users
  • a Portset Reader is located in the Learning Resource Centre and can be accessed upon request
  • all course materials including prospectuses can be modified in an alternative format
