Our Higher Education Open Events are held at our Southend Campus in Southend-on-Sea town centre.

These events are the perfect opportunity to find out all you need to know about degree, HND and HNC courses on offer at University Centre South Essex. Higher education students have full use of the facilities at both Luker Road and The Forum which include an ultra-modern library and learning zone.

At this open event you can:

  • get advice from our lecturers on degrees and all other higher education courses such as foundation degrees and various teaching qualifications
  • find out about funding and student loans
  • demystify the UCAS application process with help from our expert advisors
  • explore our state-of-the-art facilities

You can apply for your chosen course at this event and staff will be on-hand to help you with your application.

Please attend the Open Event at the Centre for Digital Technologies instead if you are interested in seeing the specialist workshops for the following courses:

  • Computing HNC
  • Digital Animation
  • Games Design

If you are interested in our General Engineering HNC or our Electrical & Electronic Engineering HNC, please visit an Open Event at our Thurrock Campus instead.

If you are interested in our Construction and the Built Environment HNC, please visit an Open Event at our Luckyn Lane Campus instead.
