This one day course is designed to provide information about common food allergens and the foods that commonly cause intolerance.
This course is for anyone who wishes to learn about the responsibilities relating to food handling and the potential dangers of certain foods and food groups.
A 15 question multiple choice examination. Learners are required to achieve a mark of at least 9 to pass.
On successful completion of course learners could progress onto a range of Food Safety qualifications offered at South Essex College. Learners will also be able to work safely with food in the retail or hospitality industry.
