Overview

On completion of this qualification you will be able to prepare for and provide eyelash perming services. You will also be able to follow health & safety requiremetns in the salon, communicate with clients and provide client care.

What's covered?

  • Prepare yourself, the client and work area for eyelash perming
  • Use suitable consultation techniques to identify treatment objectives
  • Interpret and accurately record the results of relevant tests carried out prior to treatment
  • Provide clear recommendations to the client
  • Select products, tools and equipment to suit client treatment needs
  • Communicate and behave in a professional manner
  • Follow health and safety working practices
  • Position yourself and the client correctly throughout the treatment
  • Use products, tools, equipment and techniques to suit client treatment needs
  • Complete the treatment to the satisfaction of the client
  • Record the results of the treatment
  • Provide suitable aftercare advice

  • Reflective accounts
  • Oral/written questioning and/or other forms of evidence
  • A minimum of three observations

What can I do after this?

Once learners have completed this qualification, they can gain further accreditation by attending additional units of the Beauty Academy Training programme. There are also full time Beauty related courses, please visit the College website for further details.
