The Adobe InDesign course is designed to give you the skills and knowledge to progress rapidly as you learn how to use the tools found within InDesign.

Practical exercises cover the 10 essential skills beginners need to know to work with InDesign.

This course will cover:

  • Placing images in frames
  • Editing images in Photoshop
  • Creating text frames
  • Formatting text
  • Colour
  • Creating stylesheets
  • Text wrapping
  • Page consistent elements
  • Output for distribution

How will my work be assessed?

Tutor will provide constant feedback in order to facilitate the learning process. While successful completion will provide you with a portfolio of practical examples to refer to for future use.

What can I do after this?

Use InDesign for desktop publishing for personal or professional use as InDesign is the leading tool that integrates with other Adobe Creative Cloud applications.

The only entry requirement needed for our evening and weekend courses is enthusiasm and a desire to learn a new skill or hobby. You will also need to bring a USB memory stick.
