GCSE results day - Nathan Eagling

Games development student Nathan improved his GCSE English score by an impressive three grade boundaries compared to last year.

The 17-year-old was over the moon when he found out he had achieved a grade 6 compared to the grade 3 from 12 months ago.

He said that because of his autism, he found it much easier to study his GCSE at college compared to school, as he could focus more on the one subject.

He said: “It was hard at school trying to study for eight GCSEs. I find it much easier to focus on one thing so this year I have found it much easier to understand the subject and improve my results. I’m really happy and it shows that when you find your own way of learning you can achieve great things.”
